Livvy & Rose Brand

One of the main purposes to why I started Fashion Blogging was to help promote smaller Fashion Brands & Online Boutiques on my blog. I am a big believer of helping others succeed in their ambitions in life and it is self-rewarding helping other FASHIONISTAS & Fashion Entrepreneurs. The fashion industry is still a rapidly growing market and there is plenty of room for more, new brands to enter. The only thing is smaller fashion brands have a harder life-cycle due to tough competition from mainstream global labels but shoppers need to be more aware that some smaller brands can have better quality products than the larger brands as well as receive a more personalised better service! So think twice next time you shop online ladies!
ABOUT Livvy & Rose
Livvy & Rose is an online fashion accessories boutique for the fashion savvy females that love to add that extra statement piece to their outfits. Their product range includes scarves, jewellery and handbags. The brand focuses on offering high quality products at affordable prices,(below mainstream retail prices).
"Our scarves, jewellery and bags are all carefully selected for their style, quality and design and we are confident you'll love our accessories collection".
I was approached by the lovely Jill, CEO of the brand Livvy & Rose to Sample and Review her product range. I also got the chance to interview her on everything about the brand and on how she got started...
INTERVIEWwith CEO of Livvy & Rose
  • What inspired you to create Livvy and Rose?
I am a graphic designer and work three days a week and since my son was born 8 years ago, my two days off have been spent looking after my children which has been a special time for me. My daughter has just started school and now I have two days a week to myself. I didn't want to do more hours in my graphic design job and thought it was time for me to do something for me. My dad and grandpa both had their own businesses and this is something I have always aspired to. I knew I wanted to set up my own business and selling fashion accessories was an idea I kept coming back to and that felt like it was 'me'. Earlier this year I bought my first stock and Livvy and Rose was born!
  • How did you decide on the brands name?
I came up with lots of ideas but this name felt right, my daughter is called Olivia Rose and I wanted to have a business name that meant something rather than just picking something random. Also she inspired me to have a little girls accessories collection as well as ladies accessories so it seemed appropriate.
  • What are your favourite products in your current collection?
I love our new pom pom scarves, they are so soft and cosy. I'm actually a real summer person and usually dread the arrival of winter but I have to say this year I can't wait for the cold weather to arrive so I can wear mine.
I also love our new range of MISS LULU bags. The bags are really well-made and so thoughtfully designed with useful pockets and straps. Most of all I love the originality of the bags, they have such classic style, once you own a MISS LULU bag they will be your favourite go-to bag.
  • Describe your brand in three words:
fresh, unique, exciting
  • What are your future aspects for Livvy and Rose?
I'd love to see my business growing and eventually I'd like to have a small shop or retail concession but that is a few years ahead I think. For now I'm enjoying nurturing the business and seeing it become the business I envisaged when I set it up all those months ago.

Sample & Review
In my Sample & Review with Livvy & Rose, I was sent a charming, Silver-metal chain, Dew Drop shaped necklace with lined detailing. I loved the packaging and the way it was presented. It was like opening a gift sent from the brand. The product was wrapped in pink tissue paper with the brand logo sticker on it and inside contained the necklace in a silver jewellery pouch. The packaging gave that sentimental touch knowing that extra effort had been put into the presentation, which I love from a fashion brand!
In the Sample & Review I personally selected the Silver Dew Drop chain necklace from the Livvy & Rose A/W17 jewellery collection because I am a big fan of statement jewellery.
I truly believe that an accessory can transform an outfit .
When receiving the necklace I thought it was excellent quality and that it would be the perfect accessory for my #OOTD October A/W17 photoshoot.
My Outfit of the day for October was Autumn themed collaborating a few of this seasons key trends.

I decided to wear the Livvy & Rose necklace as a statement piece with a casual basic black T-shirt, because the silver would be more striking against a darker material. Combined with a black, oversized furry jacket, Vintage ripped, Levi-jeans and black heeled sock boots.

In the Summer I was asked by MUA Suna Myles ( to model for a fashion editorial shoot she had set up.The theme of the shoot is, "Wild Luxury".
I know I am not the next Kate Moss or Bella Hadid but I am also not one to turn down potentially great opportunities or life experiences and so I obviously agreed to it (YOLO). The photoshoot was shot by Fashion Photographer Adriano ( in two locations being Lausanne Palace gardens and Montreux Palace park, Switzerland.
