Lapasa: Sample & Review

Lapasa is a gym wear brand that is devoted in providing the ultimate comfort, high quality and high-tech apparel to sport lovers, gym fanatics and fitness junkies at an affordable price Their current collection includes womenswear and menswear gym wear pieces.
The Lapasa womenswear collection includes high-waisted (Full & 3/4 length)Yoga leggings, running shorts, tank tops, racerback- sports bras, logo-briefs & bralettes, cotton hoodies and more, all in vibrant colours and prints.
Lapasa gym wear is designed to suit and flatter all female silhouettes, enhancing the figure in all the right places. Materials used in their designs are carefully selected to offer the best comfort whilst exercising, offering light compression with full freedom to move and stretch.

I was lucky enough to be chosen by Lapasa to sample & review an item of my choice from their current collection which I was thrilled to accept! I have always been into health & fitness and I am a regular gym goer but I sometimes struggle to find the time so what better way to motivate me to go to the gym than to try out a new gym wear brand whilst doing my usual gym workout! The items I chose to sample was the Lapasa Yoga leggings in Burgandy (XS) with the matching  racerback sports bra also in Burgundy (XS).
What I liked most about the co-ord set was not only did it look great on but it was also super comfortable with spandex in the leggings and sports bra. Spandex is a key material used in high-end athlete wear because the elastane material makes the garment stretchy enough to fit various shapes and sizes as well as not restrict any movement when it comes to sport performance. It is also an ideal material used in sportswear to absorb body sweat.
A pet hate that I have with some sports wear brands is the lack of elasticity in the materials used in their designs which effects overall body comfort when exercising. That was not the case with the Lapasa co-ord set. I felt like I could do my fully body workout routine without any restrictions and in full comfort!
All in all I was over the moon with my new Lapasa co-ord set and I will definitely be wearing it again for the gym but before then I will work on my abs!

Being part of the Press team at the Montreux Jazz Festival 2017, I had to dress the part. I have always loved the rock chic and bohemian style. With celeb inspiration in mind, such as Sienna Miller, Kate Moss and Millie Mackintosh festival outfits at places like Glasto worn the previous years, I took this inspiration and played with it with this #OOTD.
With this look, I wore an oversized t-shirt with Snoop Dogg on the front, purchased from the Mens section in H&M. FYI I tend to shop in the menswear section in stores just because they sometimes seem to have a wider variation of different/better styled t-shirts compared to Womenswear.  I wore the Snoop Dogg t-shirt tucked into a dark blue denim skirt, from Topshop, worn with a brown belt with a gold buckle from Calvin Klein. I wore black-leather sock-boots from Zara (My Faves). With Accessories, I wore a navy bandana choker necklace from Zara and a fluffy black backpack. I always wear backpacks to gigs or festivals, that way I have my hands free to dance!

Montreux Jazz Festival 2017 #PRESS Part 1: Dua Lipa
Montreux Jazz Festival: PRESS: Part 1.
With Summer 2017 nearly over, I wanted to reminisce on all the events and festivities that took place! So lets #Throwback to the 51st Montreux Jazz Festival which took place on 30th June-15th July. For those that don't know about the Montreux Jazz Festival (MJF), I will give you the low-down briefly.
The Montreux Jazz Festival is a two week long festival located in Montreux, Switzerland. It attracts up to 250,000 people a year(which is a lot if you know the size of small Montreux). Over 1300 of the biggest names in the music industry (from all genres of music) have performed there over the years.
For the past eight years I have attended the MJF and I have been lucky enough to see Lana Del Ray, Paloma Faith, The Noisettes, The Maccabees, Mumford & Sons and more, LIVE!
These gigs are like no other and are such a magical experience. Unlike other festivals or gigs the MJF gigs are more intimate with only a limited amount of tickets sold you receive a unique VIP experience in viewing a huge music talent up close, front of stage with a small crowd to share it with.
This Summer's MJF, however was different for me! I had the opportunity to be part of the press team which was beyond words. Watching gigs for free!#JOBGOALS
On the 3rd July I was lucky enough to attend another MJF gig to watch Dua Lipa & perform at the Jazz Lab stage.
The 22 year old, British, up & coming pop singer Dua Lipa is becoming a big name now, not only in the music industry but also in the Fashion world. It was amazing to watch the young talent in her element, on stage, performing her greatest hits live, such as ;Scared to Be Lonely, Be the One, Blow Your Mind, Hotter Than Hell and her new hit New Rules.
It was clearly obvious Dua Lipa has a talent and I thoroughly enjoyed vibing to her live and she performed far better than I ever imagined. It is also evident the young beauty has style and likes to dress from her London roots with an edgy street-wear style collaborated with sports-luxe.
Dua Lipa Outfit of the night #OOTN
The young singer kept it basic but edgy that night with a baby-pink strappy cami-top, knotted at the front and tucked inside to convert the top into a cute crop-top.Her crop-top was worn with high-waisted, black, vertical pinstripe, cargo trousers with front zip detailing. Her footwear of choice were Vans Old School trainers and her accessories included a multi-chain choker necklace and rings.
Her dark locks was worn up, scrapped back into a tidy-slicked bun and her makeup was minimal.
