Spring/Summer 18 Trends: Denim Revamp

Spring/Summer 18 Trends: Denim Revamp
As we start to get a little bit of hope to the end of what seems to be the longest and coldest Winter EVER!We can finally begin to store away the Winter attire from our wardrobes and start to make space for the new clothing necessities for this coming Spring.
Just to clarify, Spring is four days away and before the weather does a 360, resulting us to all panic over what we should buy for our own personal wardrobes, I am here to help in guiding you on what the key trends are for this Spring/Summer 18. I have done my research in looking back at the Fashion Week's from September 17, where all international designers showcased their S/S18 collection and I have noted down the key trends in which will revitalise our S/S18 style.
Before I list the full S/S18 trends in another blog post, I thought it would be a good idea to go into detail on each trend in more depth. Starting with...
Denim Revamp
Do you remember back in 2000 when you wore mix n match denim or denim with patch work detail with different materials. Well it's back but don't worry it's had a revamp and a new contemporary spin to it, thanks to Tom Ford, Versus, and Nina Ricci, polishing up the retro 2000 trend. This new age Denim has more of a tailored feel to it, from Denim structured, trouser jumpsuits, dresses, double denim co-ord sets, denim suits, darker denim palettes, which are all key looks, seen on the runway at Mugler, Nina Ricci, Versus, Fendi, Calvin Klein, Tom Ford, Adam Selman and Tibi.
"We never thought we’d see the return of tailored denim, but then, we didn’t expect it to look this good the second time around", Vogue.
